Individual Support
In addition to the educational support of groups FRIENDS Kinderhilfe International e.V. also stands for individual care and systematic individual support of children in children’s homes in Sri Lanka and within the framework of the FRIENDS sponsorship program.
Specific to the individual requirements of the child we assist and support it systematically. Depending on the conditions of the child this comprises participation in supportive group measures as for example our educational programs, but also direct and personal care up to financial support to secure the basic needs.
This kind of support can be guaranteed best by sponsorship. FRIENDS sponsorship grants children in children’s homes or in poor families a certain security. The relation of a sponsor to a child from Sri Lanka, just from “friend to friend” forms the basis to establish better future prospects for the foster child. A sponsorship is the most direct and personal way of individual support for a child in need.
